I've been linked :)
To my plesent surprise I've been linked so I understand there's someone out there trying to read my blog but who doesn't understand a thing!!
So in your honour I've written a short version of my travels in Australia, Malaysia and New Zealand:
This summer has been absolutely great. Me and Lama started in Australia for 3 weeks. Landed in Brisbane where we were perfect tourist and did alot of sightseeing and some partying. Spent 2 days in Gold coast, but it was school leavers so it was quite caotic with heaps of drunken minors. Did 2 theme parks while beeing there, which we enjoyed very much.
We then flew down to Sydney. Spent 10 days living with Lama's sister and her husband. Been to museums, galleries, had our first surflesson, the opera house, partying and some chillin. We liked Sydney best, lots of things to do and friendly people.
Before going to Malaysia we had 2 days in Brunei. Absolutely nothing happend so we spent most of the time in the hotel. Did see some of the capital, but it was just so quiet. Arrived then in KL where Rengee a Malaysian friend from Auckland, took care of us the first night. Me and Lama then hooked up with Piotr, a Polish dude in Malaysia for some travelling before the conference. Hang with him until the conference started.
OCSEA LDS, the conference, was very good. The best thing was all the wonderful people. They also took good care of us on our adventures after the conference. Spent some days in Singapore as well. Christmas it was me, Lama and Tihana in a fancy five star hotel in Penang. Relaxed by the pool and had masages, perfect!
In the beginning of January I had two friends from Norway with me. Rented a car and went on a roadtrip for 2.5 weeks. Had some great adventures from the Bay of Island in the north til Christchurch in the south. Sailing, caving, maori village, sightseeing, skydiving, tramping, surfing, rafting, sunbathing, shopping etc! Lots of fun.
